Angola Telecom Modernizes Network with Siemens

Angola Telecom has commissioned Siemens Communications to expand and modernize the fixed network infrastructure in the capital Luanda. The EUR 60 Million contract covers several thousand telephone lines and ADSL connections. The two-year project will entail a turnkey metro network, multiservice IP-DSLAMs, carrier Ethernet components and optical transmission equipment.
