Lucent Appoints Elizabeth Hackenson as CIO

Lucent Technologies named Elizabeth Hackenson to the position of chief information officer (CIO), responsible for all of Lucent's global information technology systems. Hackenson, who previously held a similar position with MCI, has more than 25 years of experience in information technology with the last 12 years in the telecommunications industry. She will report to Lucent Chief Operating Officer Frank D'Amelio. http://www.lucent.com
