Toshiba America Information Systems has expanded its Strata CIX family of pure IP business communications systems -- adding two new versions -- the Strata CIX670 (supporting up to 672 ports) and Strata CIX100 (supporting up to 112 ports) to the existing Strata CIX200 (supporting up to 192 ports), which began shipping in February 2005.
All three models are designed for SMB enterprises or larger corporate users with multiple sites. Key capabilities include:
- traditional business phone features in an IP System
- virtually all features available to all Toshiba users on Fixed or mobile devices, including IP phones, IP wireless telephones, IP softphones on notebook and tablet PCs, and digital (TDM) and analog telephones.
- "Adaptability" that allows the company to customize and add features companywide, by department, or for individual users.
- Unified System Administration for the programming of Toshiba's Strata CIX and the Strategy ES Voice Processing system, allowing technicians and system administrators to program both systems together.
- "My Phone Manager" -- a personal administration tool for programming the LCD on the telephone and speed dial buttons and feature buttons via their PC's Web browser.
- Multiple IP-Based Media Applications on a single media application server. Applications include Auto Attendant, Voice Mail, Automated Speech Recognition, Text to Speech, Unified Messaging, Interactive Voice Response, Automatic Call Distribution and Reporting, Web-based Personal and System Administration, Web-based Telephone Applications, and other third party applications. Strata MAS comes standard with Toshiba's Strategy Enterprise Server Voice Processing solution, "My Phone Manager," and eManager.
