Verizon launched a promotion that combines its new consumer broadband VoIP service with DSL. Customers who subscribe to VoiceWing can get Verizon Online's lowest price for DSL service -- $29.95 a month for 1.5 Mbps downstream connectivity. The "VoiceWing" VoIP service costs $29.95 a month for the first six months and offers unlimited U.S. calling. Verizon is currently offering local VoIP numbers for more than 160 area codes in 35 states and the District of Columbia. http://www.verizon.com
