Nortel Networks was one of the CDMA2000 1xEV-DO suppliers contributing to the upcoming launch of Verizon Wireless' BroadbandAccess network in 14 major metropolitan areas and 24 airports in the United States.
Nortel Networks was the primary wireless infrastructure supplier in San Diego for Verizon Wireless' initial commercial deployment of BroadbandAccess in October 2003.
