Telica Upgrades its VoIP Media Gateway to 37,600 Ports

Telica announced a major upgrade for its Plexus 9000 VoIP Media Gateway, raising the density of the platform from 1,500 voice channels to more than 37,600 fully protected channels. The Voice Server Module is offered as a plug upgrade to the existing Plexus 9000 chassis. The Plexus 9000 Media Gateway is a key component of Telica's PLUS second-generation softswitch family.



Telica said its switches are currently carrying an estimated 4.5 billion minutes per month for its customers. http://www.telica.com
