In its annual analyst briefing, BellSouth issued 2004 market guidance on some of its key operational initiatives. Some highlights for 2004:
- Revenue: flat to low single digit positive growth
- DSL: approximately 2.2 million subscribers by the end of 2004, compared to 1.3 million at the end of Q3 2003
- LD: more than 5 million subscribers by the end of 2004, compared to 3.4 million long distance customers at the end of Q3 2003
- CAPEX: 13-15% CapEx to revenue ratio, excluding Cingular
- Operating free cash flow: in the range of $4 billion, excluding Cingular
