Canoga Perkins Introduces OC-48c CWDM System

Canoga Perkins introduced OC-48c Coarse Wave Division Multiplexers (CWDM) systems specifically designed for the SAN and metro networks. Th system uses CWDM wavelengths compliant with ITU-T standards and integrates a CWDM loopback function, which assists in troubleshooting of the link and pinpointing problems. The CWDM's transponder complies with all SONET, SAN and Ethernet specifications with complete protocol independence. Any data rate from 100 Mbps to 2.5 Gbps is supported on a single module. The solution is NEBS Level 3 tested and certified.
