Atreus Secures $13 Million for Service Activation Software

Atreus Systems, a start-up based in Ottawa, Canada, raised $13.0 million in Series C venture financing for its software solutions for the creation and activation of IP network and application services. Atreus offers its "xAuthority" Service Fulfillment OSS Solution for wireline and wireless service providers, and its "xAuthority" Identity and Provisioning Solution for government and commercial enterprises. In the new funding round, Meritage Private Equity Funds, SAIC Venture Capital Corporation, and TELUS Ventures joined existing investors Aliant, BDC Venture Capital, Blueprint Ventures, Mobius Venture Capital, and Skypoint Capital Corporation.
