Scandinavian Airlines Signs on for Connexion by Boeing

Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS) plans to equip eleven of its long-haul aircraft for providing Connexion by Boeing's passenger Internet access service. SAS passengers will have the ability to use Wi-Fi enabled laptops or personal electronic devices for Internet access, email and VPNs. An undisclosed number of options for expansion of the service onto additional SAS aircraft also are part of the agreement. Financial terms were not disclosed.
