Wavesat Wireless Announces OFDM Chip

Wavesat Wireless, a start-up based in Montreal, Canada, announced the general availability of an OFDM modem chip for non-line-of-sight broadband wireless access systems. The chip has been under development for the past 5 years. Wavesat also announced today that it has recently joined the WiMAX Forum as a principal member.
