Finisar introduced a new Analysis and Monitoring solution for 1Gb & 2Gb Fibre Channel and FCIP Storage Area Networks. Finisar's Xgig product line offers two platform options: a 4-blade rack mount or bench top chassis and a single blade chassis for portable use. Finisar introduced a Bit Error Rate Tester (BERT) based on the Xgig platform in May.
