AT&T Courts Web-Hosting Customers

AT&T announced an aggressive campaign to attract enterprises and government agencies whose Web-hosting is currently provided by companies exiting the hosting business. AT&T's transition program provides customers flexible financing options, complimentary installation, expedited contracting, service assurance guarantees and aggressive pricing. AT&T is also launching an advertising campaign promoting its web hosting operations. AT&T said its managed hosting services grew by more than 100% last year. The company recently opened new Internet data centers in China (Hong Kong), France (Nice) and Australia (Sydney), bringing its total number of centers to 21 across three continents, including 13 in the U.S.
