Telia Selects Riverstone Networks

Telia has deployed Riverstone Networks' RS family of routers to extend Ethernet services across is Scandinavian ATM network. The installation uses Riverstone's ATM circuit extension technology to map multiple virtual LANs into single virtual circuit (VC) or multiple VCs to a single VLAN. The combination of Riverstone's RS routers and ATM circuit extension technology gives Telia the ability to deliver full LAN-to-LAN services across the ATM backbone. Financial terms were not disclosed.
