RADCOM Adds H.323 Media Stress Generation to Test Suite

RADCOM has added H.323 Media stress testing capabilities to its VoIP Performer test suite. The addition of RTP generation to the company's 323Sim product, a high-volume H.323 call generator, enables vendors and service providers to generate RTP streams to test and verify the performance of carrier-grade gateways, mediators and media servers in high traffic. It can also be used when testing network readiness for H.323 solutions or large-scale gateways between packet and switched circuit networks and media servers. RADCOM said its system can generate loads with 2,000 sessions, with full signaling and RTP streams, in various codecs for H.323 calls created by H.323 signaling.
