IBM will assume responsibility for BellSouth's e-business hosting operations in Atlanta and Miami. The facilities will be connected to IBM's global hosting infrastructure and will act as key hubs for the delivery of on-demand services in the southeastern US. BellSouth will then jointly market IBM e-business hosting services, which will be delivered using BellSouth's Internet access, Metro Ethernet, Network VPN and DSL services. Financial terms were not disclosed.
