BellSouth and Cingular File Complaint Against Sprint

BellSouth and Cingular Wireless filed a legal complaint against Sprint, stating that Sprint knowingly and unfairly interfered with the contractual, business and fiduciary obligations that Gary Forsee had with BellSouth and Cingular.

  • Earlier this month, Sprint offered the position of chief executive officer (CEO) to Gary D. Forsee, who is currently vice chairman - domestic operations of BellSouth. However, BellSouth obtained a temporary restraining order to prevent Forsee from accepting employment from Sprint due to the non-compete agreement in his contract.
