Google Breaks Ground on Huge Data Center in Holland

Google held a ground breaking ceremony with Dutch officials to launch construction of a huge data center in Eemshaven, Netherlands -- its fourth mega data center in Europe.  Other sites are Dublin, Hamina (Finland) and the Belgian St. Ghislain.

The data center is expected to enter service in late 2016 and be fully operational in 2017.  Foofle said its plans to invest EUR 600 million in the project.
