ZTE Tallies $13.7 billion in U.S. Purchases So Far

Since entering the U.S. market in 2007, ZTE's supply chain purchases in the U.S. have totaled more than $13.7 billion, according to Lixin Cheng, President of North America Region of ZTE Corporation. The company expects it purchases to grow at a 10% rate. ZTE currently operates 10 offices around the country, including five R&D locations and a logistics center. It also has more than 400 employees across North America.



Earlier this year, ZTE announced its intention to source application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) from Qualcomm and Broadcom, two long-time U.S. suppliers, with the total amount reaching $5 billion.
