SOASTA Raises $12 Million for Cloud-based Testing

SOASTA, a start-up based in Mountain View, California, raised $12 million for its cloud-based performance testing.


SOASTA’s CloudTest Platform is designed for testing the performance of web and mobile applications at scale. The platform leverages the resources of the cloud for load and performance testing. It simulates traffic hitting a website or application from outside or inside the firewall, testing both lab and production environments.


The round was led by The Entrepreneurs’ Fund, with participation from prior investors Canaan Partners, Formative Ventures, and Pelion Venture Partners.
