Metaswitch Appoints CFO

Metaswitch Networks has appointed Thomas L. Cronan III as chief financial officer of the company. Stephen Halstead, currently in the role of chief financial officer, will report to Mr. Cronan.


Cronan previously served as chief financial officer of Aviat Networks. From 2003 to 2007, Mr. Cronan served as the senior vice president of finance and chief financial officer at Redback Networks Inc., where he worked closely with Kevin DeNuccio to create a period of sustained revenue growth and, ultimately, the sale of Redback in 2007 to Ericsson for $2.1 billion.
