Cellcom Israel Suffers Major Outage

Cellcom Israel, a leading Israeli cellular provider with approximately 3.376 million subscribers, suffered a major network outage on December 1. The company has since resumed full service and will refund all its subscribers for all calls and SMS messages in Israel, in the last week (November 25, 2010 to December 1, 2010, included). The company also said it was aware of several class action lawsuits that have been filed.
