The Tokyo Institute of Technology has migrated its multi-site campus network to a 10 Gigabit Ethernet infrastructure running Juniper Networks EX Series Ethernet Switches and Junos operating system.
'Tokyo Institute of Technology now has a state-of-the-art campus network as befits one of the world's leading science and technology universities,' said Yoichi Hosoi, vice president, of Juniper Networks, Japan. 'It is very much a showcase for the benefits of network simplification which is one of the keys to a new network. The Institute will also greatly benefit from the fact that, with the Junos operating system, all network elements are orchestrated into an integrated security architecture that dynamically applies a consistent set of policies across the network.'
