Stoke Delivers its 100th Mobile Broadband Gateway

Stoke, which supplies mobile broadband gateways for carriers, reports that its sales have accelerated as it passes a company milestone -- the delivery of its 100th system for commercial deployment. The company began shipping its Stoke Session Exchange (SSX) transformation gateway to mobile carriers in late 2008. Deployments are now expected to double by year's end.



The SSX can be deployed in a variety of mobile data network locations to perform a range of functions that help deliver improved service performance, user satisfaction, and operator ROI. The SSX benefits mobile broadband services and offload capabilities in 3G and LTE, as well as in transitioning environments. Stoke's solutions are currently deployed for femtocell, multi-network mobility anchor, and LTE scenarios.


The company said it continues to expand its capabilities to address key areas of the mobile data infrastructure, including data offload solutions with Wi-Fi, femtocells, and non-intrusive Iu-PS Breakout, and LTE network gateways. Stoke also offers mobility management gateway functions that enable seamless transition between different wireless access technologies, including 3G, Wi-Fi, and LTE.
