NEC Picks Vyatta Provides Virtual Networking Foundation

Vyatta's virtual routing and security software has been selected as the foundation network level of NEC Networks & System Integration Corporation's (NESIC) Consolidated Network Services (CNS).


The CNS combines high-performance x86 servers, a VMware virtualization platform, and network virtual appliances from Vyatta, Citrix and Checkpoint into a single virtual server. The platform integrates Vyatta's virtual firewall, routing and VPN capabilities for enterprise branch deployments.
