Deutsche Telekom AG will migrate to Ixia's newly announced NGY high-density 10 GE testing solution. Specifically, DT is using IxN2X to perform layer 2-3 testing of their network backbone under high traffic conditions, as well as to scale up traffic levels to see how the network performs under stressful load conditions.

Ixia's NGY emulates internet-scale routing topologies and traffic profiles, proving that DT's network scales successfully without degradation in performance.
The just-released NGY is the next generation of Ixia's IxYukon load module family and offers complete layer 2-7 packet generation, routing emulation, and application testing. NGY modules, in conjunction with an XM12 chassis, provide up to 96 10 GE ports of testing power.
