Ixia Supplies LTE Test Equipment to NTT DOCOMO

Ixia is supplying its wireless testing solution to NTT DOCOMO to validate the functionality of its pre-deployed LTE network.


Ixia's end-to-end wireless testing solution includes the IxCatapult and IxLoad test applications. Its LTE end-to-end test solution spans from the wireless edge to the Internet core. Using Ixia's products, carriers and telecom equipment manufacturers can fully exercise LTE equipment, including evolved node Bs (eNode B), mobility management entities (MME), serving gateways (SGW), and packet data network gateways (PDN GW), using multi-user emulations. Advanced subscriber modeling is used to stress test LTE network devices and complete networks.
