At Mobile World Congress, Huawei is showcasing the first Android phone with HSPA+ connectivity supporting downlink speeds up to 14 Mbps. The U8800 uses the Android 2.1 operating system and will feature a 3.8-inch wide screen. The U8800 smartphone will be commercially available in the third quarter of 2010.
Huawei also showed three other Android devices: a youth-oriented smartphone, an entry level smartphone and a 7" touch-screen tablet.
