Mintera and ClariPhy to Develop 2nd Gen 40 Gbps

Mintera and ClariPhy Communications announced a partnership to deliver a next-generation 40 Gbps DWDM coherent optical transport solution. Specifically, Mintera's MI 5000XM 40 Gbps Polarization Multiplexed Quadrature Phase Shift Keyed (PM-QPSK) transceiver module will employ a state-of-the art mixed-signal ASIC designed and supplied by ClariPhy.


The companies have entered into a comprehensive partnership agreement that includes joint specification and optimization of the ClariPhy ASIC and surrounding optical components, and which enables Mintera to be first to market with a module incorporating ClariPhy's ASIC.
