IBM officially launched its LotusLive iNotes, a new email service that competes with Google's Gmail.
The IBM service, which is positioned for mainstream business users, offers pricing starting at $3 per user, per month.
LotusLive iNotes is designed for companies that want to confidently move some or all of their email to the cloud. IBM said its model can accommodate gradual or dramatic migrations to the cloud, while also supporting a client's existing on-premise collaboration system. http://www.ibm.com
