Verizon Business and Akamai Enhance Online Services for QuestNet

QuestNet Limited, which provides an e-commerce platform to more than 5 million sellers of consumer goods worldwide, has selected Verizon Business and Akamai Technologies to enhance the performance and security of the company's expanding portfolio of online services. Verizon Business' professional services team conducted a full audit of the Hong Kong-based company's infrastructure.  Verizon then developed solutions in two areas: application performance and security.  To improve application performance, Akamai's Web Application Acceleration solution makes access to business-critical applications easier and more efficient. To address information security, governance, risk and compliance issues, the Verizon Security Management Programme provides QuestNet with a structured approach to optimize its overall security posture. Financial terms were not disclosed.
