Starent Surpasses 100th Carrier Deployment Milestone

Starent Networks' multimedia core platforms have now been deployed in more than 100 mobile operator networks in 45 countries worldwide.


Starent's ST40 and ST16 multimedia core platforms enable high-speed multimedia services such as video, music downloads and broadband Internet on mobile networks including CDMA, femtocells, UMTS/HSPA, WiFi and WiMAX. Additionally, the Starent platforms support an evolution to LTE through software upgradeability.
