Huawei Integrates LSI's Media Processors

Huawei Technologies has selected LSI Corporation's StarPro 2600 multicore media processors for use in its next-generation wireless and wireline equipment.


LSI's portfolio of SP2600 processors consists of multicore, system-on-chip devices designed to optimize mobile and enterprise media processing. The family combines advanced features, high performance, scalability (to 12 DSP cores per chip) and low power consumption into a comprehensive, cost-effective media gateway platform.
