MetaSwitch Headed for Greenfield Deployment in Curaçao

MetaSwitch's IP communications platform has been selected for the Santa Barbara Plantation Resort Community in Curaçao.


Curaçao, with a population of approximately 150,000 and a land area of 171 square miles, is the largest and most populous island in the Netherlands Antilles. The Santa Barbara Plantation is a master planned mixed-use resort located on the southeastern side of Curaçao. A state-of-the-art telecommunications system is being developed for the ultimate convenience of hotel guests and resort residents. This advanced IP-based fiber to the home system (FTTH), will deliver a Triple Play of high-speed internet access and television along with residential and business telephony services from MetaSwitch, including voicemail and unified communications.
