Ericsson Confirms GPON Contracts with Chinese Operators

Ericsson has been awarded contracts with China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom to provide GPON broadband access solutions. The deployments will cover millions of access lines in nine Chinese provinces. For these projects, Ericsson is to roll out GPON implementations. Financial terms were not disclosed.
