Xobni, a start-up based in San Francisco, closed $7 million in second round funding for its Microsoft Outlook plug-in. The software offers lightning fast search and organization of an Outlook inbox. Xobni (which is "in-box" spelled backwards) has evolved from a private, invite-only beta to publicly available software that's been downloaded over 1.5 million times.
