Japan's UQ Selects Mformation to Support Mobile WiMAX

Japan's UQ Communications, a joint venture between KDDI, Intel Capital, East Japan Railway, KYOCERA, Daiwa Securities and The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Ltd, has selected Mformation Technologies' platform to provide seamless device management capabilities for new WiMAX-capable devices as part of the rollout of its WiMAX network.


The MFORMATION SERVICE MANAGER ensures that WiMAX-capable devices can be remotely activated and provisioned irrespective of their source.
