Alcatel-Lucent Endows Chair at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid

A new "Alcatel-Lucent Chair" has been established at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), enabling students in the Telecommunication Engineering Technical School to develop greater expertise in broadband multimedia services and applications. Topics of study include GPON, service routing, applications based on the IP multimedia subsystem (IMS) and other new services. The academic activities in the University will be completed with a period of practical studies at Alcatel-Lucent, after which the students will be trained in state-of-the-art solutions and technologies.http://www.alcatel-lucent.comhttp://www.upm.es/
