Alloptic Receives Patent for "Multiple Wavelength TDMA Optical Network"

Alloptic has been granted a patent for "Multiple wavelength TDMA optical network" technology in the United States (U.S. Pat. 7,386,236). This patent provides intellectual property protection to Alloptic for the simultaneous use of multiple wavelengths to increase bandwidth over a passive fiber optic network (PON).

Alloptic noted that it was the first company to develop an Ethernet-based PON product and that it continues to introduce new technology to the communications industry, most recently with RFoG and 10G PON products.http://www.alloptic.com
