T-Mobile has filed a lawsuit against Starbucks alleging breach of contract over their partnership to provide Wi-Fi services. - In April 2008, AT&T started the rollout of its Wi-Fi service in Starbucks cafes across the U.S. As of May 1, qualifying AT&T high speed Internet and Wi-Fi customers have been offered complimentary Wi-Fi access at more than 7,000 Starbucks locations nationwide as they become available. AT&T customers can connect to the Internet from Wi-Fi enabled company-operated Starbucks locations nationwide by selecting "ATTWiFi" after powering up their computers.
