T-Systems Wins Outsourcing Contract with Royal Dutch Shell

T-Systems, Deutsche Telekom's enterprise customer unit, was awarded a multi-sourcing contract by Royal Dutch Shell valued at approximately EUR 1 billion. Under the initial five-year agreement, T-Systems will take over the infrastructure and IT professionals of Shell's global data centers, including three centers in the Netherlands and one each in the U.S. and Malaysia.


T-Systems said the deal confirms its position as a leading network-centric information and communications technology (ICT) provider for Corporate Europe.
