USAID, Cisco Extend International Development Partnership

The United States Agency for International Development and Cisco Systems announced a five-year extension of a partnership focused on education and economic growth in poor communities worldwide. Since 2000, USAID has worked with Cisco to bring its Networking Academy, a technical school program, to more than 45 developing countries in Africa, Asia and the Middle East. To date, the program has reached more than 50,000 students, helping to provide them with the technology and computer skills to compete in the global marketplace.http://www.usaid.gov/http://www.cisco.com
