U.S. Cellular Signs 5-Year Deal with Alcatel-Lucent

U.S. Cellular has awarded a five-year agreement to Alcatel-Lucent to supply a wide variety of network equipment, software and services supporting its ongoing network expansion. Under the deal, Alcatel-Lucent will provide a range of base stations designed to fit a wide variety of deployment scenarios. U.S. Cellular's network is based on CDMA2000 technology.
