Rivulet Names Kennedy as CEO - Dynamic Synchronization Technology

Rivulet Communications, a start-up based in Herndon, Virginia, named Ed Kennedy as its new President and CEO. Kennedy previously served as the CEO, President and Co-Founder of Ocular Networks, a provider of optical networking technologies that was acquired by Tellabs in 2002 He was then promoted and served as president of Tellabs until 2004. He also previously held various executive positions at Alcatel and Newbridge Networks.


Rivulet Communications offers systems for transporting high bandwidth, mission critical and real-time applications over existing IP networks. The company's Dynamic Synchronization Technology (DST) works by synchronizing packets as they enter the IP network, virtually eliminating network resource contention and the resultant delay, packet loss and jitter, and low utilization typically associated with convergence over IP networks.http://www.rivulet.com
