Comcast, the large cable operator in the U.S., has decided not to bid in the FCC's upcoming 700 MHz wireless auction. The company said the 20 MHz of spectrum it acquired in the wireless auction last year, in partnership with the other cable partners in SpectrumCo, provides it with significant long-term flexibility and strategic options.
