AT&T Offers 1 Gbps Optical Mesh Service

AT&T announced a 1 Gbps speed option for its AT&T Optical Mesh Service, which allows customers to reallocate bandwidth as needed by increasing or decreasing network capacity in near real time. Customers also can build and self-administer their own SONET networks using the AT&T "BusinessDirect" customer portal.



AT&T Optical Mesh Service is currently available in 275 locations nationwide.
