Xangati Raises $10.7 Million in Series B Funding

Xangati, a start-up based in Cupertino, California, raised $10.7 million in venture funding for its line rapid problem identification (RPI) appliances for enterprise networks.

Xangati's rapid problem identification solution does not rely on agents or probes. It collects packet data traversing the network and correlates this with application performance over time. By tracking changes in expected network performance, the Xangati solution is able to identify problems before end-users become aware of them.

The new funding round was led by Walden International and was joined by existing investor Alloy Ventures. This brings total funding to date to approximately $18 million.
