ChinaSat 6B Successfully Launched

Chinasat 6B was successfully launched into space from China's Xichang Satellite Launch Center aboard a Long March-3B. The satellite, which was manufactured by Thales Alenia Space, carries 38 C-band transponders. The satellite will enable ChinaSatcom to expand its services in China, allowing easy reception of up to 300 television programs across China, south east Asia, the Pacific and Oceania.
