Alcatel-Lucent to Supply Fiber Backbone for Libya

The Libyan Post Telecommunications & Information Technology Company (LPTIC) selected Alcatel-Lucent to supply a nationwide, 4,400 km fiber backbone that will link all the major cities in the country. The contract is valued at more than EUR 90 million.
