Yipes Names VP of Network Architecture

Yipes named Shankar Narayanaswamy as VP of Network Architecture, reporting to Dr. Kamran Sistanizadeh, chief technology officer and co-founder of Yipes. Narayanaswamy was most recently with Covad Communications, where he led the design and development of VoIP, IPTV, and Video on Demand (VoD) services. He also initiated and drove the evolution of Covad's nationwide network from ATM to MPLS. In this new position, Narayanaswamy will further develop the architecture and drive the expansion of Yipes' next-generation Ethernet VPLS platform.
